Biography
Ronnie Karam began acting at the age of twelve when his mother dragged him to an audition after he failed spectacularly at every team sport ever invented. He has since gone on to appear in over forty plays and musicals throughout the country.
Most recently, Mulligans Jacket (a one man show, written and produced by Karam) played at Hyde Park Theatre in Austin Texas, its fourth US city, where it garnered rave reviews. An illustrative, film trailer-style glimpse into the multi-character world of Mulligan was then created to advertise the show as well as showcase Karams abilities and talents.
In 2002 he scored
his first film Butch Body Blues, which appeared
at the New York Gay and Lesbian Film Festival in New York
City. The single from that film, Butch Bitch,
made the club circuit in the city and became an underground
hit.
His
first novel, Dish and a Spoon awaits publication. (interested?)
Ronnie currently lives in Los Angeles, CA with his smelly dog Xena. Click here to visit Ronnie's MySpace page.
